National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) CEO Ali Kardor delegated his powers as the company’s CEO to his deputy for production affairs, Mohsen Paknejad, on Tuesday.
The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) intends to continue offering oil cargoes on the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), a senior NIOC official said.
The deputy chairman of the Hope Faction of the Iranian Parliament said Iran’s oil industry would continue to develop despite sanctions.
NIOC has priced each barrel of crude oil at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) at $71.59. The figure was previously announced at $76.29.
The first vice president, emphasizing Irans resistance to US sanctions, described the sanctions waivers for eight countries to buy Iranian oil as a sign of the US defeat and victory of Iran.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the US was distancing from delusions of bringing Iran’s oil exports to zero given the realities of the global economy.
